No sheet needed. Remove bags and seat. remove fender strut covers. Loosen the 4 lower muffler support/fender rail bolts. remove the 4 upper support tube fender rail bolts.Remove support tube. Install stealth rack. Reverse order of bolt removal/loosening. Reinstall all remaining parts. Done!
Ive got the service manual, spend time looking over the bike. It looked as simple as that.
I just know that every time something LOOKS or SEEMS like it should be simple, theres some hidden trick I didn't know about that allows me to **** things up in spectacular fashion (trunk docking points anyone?)

Old thread, but just used your steps to put one on my '05 RK.
It worked great, but the fender bolt on the jiffy stand side was a bitch to get started. I should have used my wheel chock to stand my bike up straight.
