This just looks like a Cee Bailey SSC knockoff. The funny thing is knockoffs are usually cheaper! LOL!
For me, I don't like the looks of the SSC so I certainly won't like the Klockwerks version. For the shield to be functional and offer protection it has to be tall and that's when these shields start looking ugly.
Well, from what I can tell, it doesn't look as swoopy (is that a word?) as the CB. And I agree, if you want complete coverage, a tall windshield is the way to go. Unfortunately, the standard tall windshields are homely as a home-made shoe and homely has no place on my scoot. All I'm hoping for is to deflect the air up a little bit, so that if I hunker down it won't hit me right between the eyes.
[sm=popcorn.gif] I didn't know that these shields existed and I thought that I was tuned in to everything FLHT related. Thanks for turning me on to these. I'll continue to enjoy all of the feedback and do some other research as well. For me, finding the perfect windshield is like finding the right pair of boots; it's gotta fit right and it's gotta be comfortable all day.
i've been following these threads and have heard mixed reviews.i like the way they look. for $100 i'd try it but at $170.................they're off their meds.
Ok, you guys don't make anything easy for me. I'm going to change out my POS flimsy stock windshield for something else. I've read all the threads and I'm still spinning in circles with a dumb *ss look on my face. Clearview, Klockworks, Cee Bailey.....ugghh. Life is full of difficult choices.
I have a 6.5" and installed it almost 2 weeks ago. The thing is freakin awesome. I'm 5'10 and the wind used to cut me right between the visor and my goggles. Now it's swept up over my head and I could light a smoke under itif it wasn't fo the fact that I justquit again 2 weeks ago. Is it worth the money? Yes! I was out again this weekend and was cruising back to town yesterday at speeds up to 120mph. It's awesome at just about any speed, and it looks dead sexy too! Lot's of compliments already and people say it looks great!
