Klock Werks for Bat Wing
Klock Werks web site says they now have the 6.5 inch flare windshied for bat wings available and ready for shipment. Has anyone bought one yet? Would like to hear someone's evaluation.

I agree about the price. I currently run a 9.5 inch tinted clearview with recurve and really have no complaints about the protection or the looks but I really like the looks of the Klock Werks a lot better and if the 6.5 KW gives the same wind protection as the 9.5 clearview then I will get it.

The price on it is crazy!!! I looked at it thinking they would try to price it like Cee Bailey's SSC and if it's so great then I would buy one but I think I have to look somewhere else. If anyone on here gives it good reviews then maybe I will dish out the money for it. Good to have this forum because I have bought stuff at the recommendation of other members. Let's see if Brian Klock can come through on this one.

Just tried to order one but something's screwy with their site. As much as I think this thing is OVERPRICED, it's the best looking windshield I've seen and I have finally just gotten tired of getting beat up from riding with the stock windshield. At 6'4", I don't expect it to cure the buffeting I've put up with for the past few years but it's got to be an improvement... right? I'll probably call tomorrow before they sell out.

It reminds me of beer prices at the football games (don't even get me started about the ticket prices).
I mean really, 8.50+tip for a beer? 14 bucks for a mixed drink?
169 smackers for a windscreen?

On the web, one can buy a ghetto/fleaBay windscreen in the neighborhood of 35 bucks.
Or ou can go to H/D - the accepted standard in takin it to ya', and you can get a shield for about 100 bucks.
Or you can go to Klock, for some reason they are really proud of that shield. I don't get it. I like it, but not that much.
