I have standard non adjustable and it works OK for me. Usually ride with Corbin Classic Solo seat on bike and use their backrest, much better ride than stock seat.

Go with the adjustable if you can. Expensive but well worth it.

Ibought the fixed backrest but wish I gotten the adjustable because the fixed pushes me too far forward...iresolved the problem by putting some washers under the front of the mounting bracket...is much better now!

I was told if you are 6'2" or taller , You should get the adjustable .
My bike has the non adjustable . And it has me feeling like I am pushed
forward & up . If i were buying , I would go with the adjustable !
