I just added a detachable king tour pak to my street glide, I also added the spoiler with the LED brake light. I need to fond a grommet for the hole that was already in the tour pak and just assumed that the dealer would have this. I have been to the dealer twice and was given the same answer.....no part number for this grommet. I went to the hardware store and found one that fits the hole but the inner diameter is too big for the wire. Anybody know where to get a grommet? I figure the one intended for the cd ant would be about the right size.
Find a new dealer! I went to mine and they had 3 different gromets for me to choose from. My TP didn't have a hole yet so I went with the smallest gromet. If they would just pull the book out and look at the parts list it will give them the number. Atleast this is what my dealer did when I want to get one. Can you find a solid gromet that will fit your hole and then just put a slit the size you need in it for the wire? Hope that helps some. Bryan
We keep a variety of different sizes at the aircraft shop where I work. You might try that if you have any connections, or maybe an electrical supply store. If I knew the right size, I'd send you one.
Try the auto parts store - they've usually got 'em! But you can also go to the parts counter an' have 'em pull the exploded view down of the TP - it'll be there.

Thanks, the dealership that is only a few minutes from my house has a bunch of idiots working there. The guy even looked at the book (or pretended to) then said nope don't show any gromets..... I don't know why I keeping jacking with those fools.
