The Brown truck arrived this week with my HawgWired Double Shot. I know a few of the members here have done the install and it sounded quite basic,
I have not had much chance to read over the manual due to a hectic schedule this week, and most likely wont get to the install till possibly this weekend.
From what i had read when i ordered the system was that is it mostly plug and play.
I did notice in a bag of parts there is apower cable that I believe is supposed to be run from the battery to amp, is thispossiblyfor a systemother than the H.K.or a diffrent application, Just curious.
Any tips or adviceahead of timefor this install would begreatly appreciated.
It is really not plug n play. You have to connect it to your battery. You also have to splice some wires too. It's not really that hard, just make sure you read the instruction reallll good. I finally got a chance to ride on sunday and hear my system with the amp (same as yours ) it is well worth the money, it is really loud .
Let us know how the install goes.I just ordered the same system but I haven't received it yet.I've never heard anybody complain about HawgWired yet.Good Luck!
I have a busy week and weekend ahead, am going to try to do a one day blast over to Daytona, weather permitting because the weathermen here i believe are just spinning a wheel with diffrent forecasts for this Sat,Sun,
Hopefully I can get to the install also,
I will be sure to post my opinion when complete,
Have to say when i opened the boxes i got a slightly aroused, The speakers and amp look and feel like quality,
Damn,, kinda pricey on the hawg-wired website... $825 for some tunes? Anyone selling it cheaper? I'd love to have it, but that's a little hard to swallow...
They have the new 120 watt amplifier, which is a direct plug and play for $495. You plug in 3 connectors and your done. The 150 watt amp requires a power wire to the battery.
