Hi, I put a post on here a few weeks back about lowering the front om my 07 sg and got a lot of good feedbck, But the problem is most of those answers wer to do stuff that was over $1000, I can't aford this so I stoped by my local Indy and he said to just go with the ones hd sells or go with the Progressive kit, Ha sany one used either one of these and can give me any feedback or part #'s on what they used? Thanks, T
Can't say for sure yet, but my progressive kit should be here tomorrow, I've been told they feel nicer and are lighter on the wallet too. Got it from shooter64, great guy to deal with.
Shooter64 is the name he goes by on here, he owns a bike shop in AR (Cateye Customs). His name is Bart, just fire him an email and he will take care of you.
I have the HD springs. I had my dealer lower the front when he was adding some other things. They're working out fine for me. I've heard good things about the progressives though. I'd go with whichever set you can get the best deal on.
Looking at a set of progressive 416's - 12.5" model for a Ultra Classic. I assume they will be better than the stock Harley shocks. Wonder if Bilstein makes shocks for motorcycles - have great luck with them on motor homes and trucks.
