supertrapp supermegs would be the quietest and most adjustable sound and perfomance wise, no doubt.
thunderheaders are a bit louder with a throatier medium range sound, and they truly put out on power(i.e.torque and hp). they also have a true duel set-up or a 2-1 with a falsien on the left side. or just get slip-ons. if you must have balance get duels, but if you want the whole package I would look at the any of the 2-1's with falsies and decide on the style. Just watch out for V&H or any others with that loud crappy, sloppy noise that comes out.
I have a set of the mamba's on order and are due to be in tomorrow , I hope to have them on Friday night and will let you know the sound . I bought them off e-bay . http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...99115&rd=1

Good luck with them, we'll have to trade notes. hopfully I'll get a dino printout I can post also
but as I stated b-4, sound and looks are 1 and 2 for me
Just got them installed took about two and a half hours to get the stock headers off and the mamba's on and download new map. I took a short ride around the neighborhood and I really like the sound . Nice deep rumble and the true dual sound I wanted , They are definitely louder than the stock headers with Vance and Hines slip ons. As far as cruising sound level I will have to get back to you because its 30 degrees and snow and salt all over the roads. Its too dark to take pics. Your going to really like the pipes .
Glad you asked that question
