It was a wopping19 degreesout this morning. I just had to get and ride my new Street Glide. I wanted to stop by my dealer to make sure a little noise was normal in my new pipes. I get there and 2 employees came out to say I am hard core to be out and about in these temps!!!lol. Well the bike they said was fine. I picked up a pair of winter gloves while I was there and just can't get off my new ride. It's almost above freezing now. My cheeks are red, my nose is froze, have snot froze to my face and I am loving every minute of it. Come on Summer!! Hurry up and get here fast!!!!
I hear ya on the heated gloves! I made it to the dealership about 10 miles away with my fingers completely numb. Picked up some winter gloves from the Buell side. Buell has them for $30 instead of the $80 Harley gloves. They worked okay but the heated ones would be nice.
Rode the other day here in Ohio.
They put so much salt down it'll need to rain 40 days before its gone.
Not to mention that sodium chlorate they spray, that's worse than salt.
With aluminum mags on the SG, I always wash the salt off when i get home.
The roads were pretty dry here near Denver today. 40 in Florida is hardcore? I better move there! If I lived in a state with no snow I would have 30,000 miles a year on my bike. Summer is almost here. Ride on!
I normally don't like spokes but liked them a lot better than stock. Only a $500 upgrade. Download your photos to photobucket.com. I downsized my picture to message board size. Copy it. When you get here click the yellow mountain icon above the message window. The picture window will pop up. Paste it in the slot and click okay. Click preview first the submit.
