I'am 5'10"and had the same problem. Cut my stock shield to 17 1/2",was a
waste of time and money,made for a brutal ride at highway speeds. I ended
up buying a 17" recurved Clearview windshield. Still a little head rattle at high
speed but a huge improvement over a cut down shield. They offer a 19" but
you might be looking thru the top edge of the shield, which I didn't want.
