The bike still sits in the garage....why? Because yesterday we had over 20" of snow to bring our total this year to an astounding 160" . I can't take it anymore. The piles beside the driveway are over 10' tall and the sidewalk is a tunnel. I would load the RK up on a trailer and leave except that the traler is under 8' of snow. My wife's new Sportster arrives in 5 weeks and her riding course is in 7....good luck on that.
I hate it here, well 6 years to retirement and a complete move, full time, to North Carolina
I also share your pain brother. Here in London Ontario we just got hammered with about 2 1/2 feet of new snow, Im just about to get out and fire up the snow blower and its -14! Got my 08 Street Glide late last year, early November and staring at it parked in the garage is getting old quick! The olderI get the more this winter starts to get to me after a month or so,hang in there man your not alone!
I am feeling bad for you. The wife and I went for a 90 mile ride yesterday. The temp was 69! People can joke about Fresno all they want. I love it. Do you think I fell bad about riding when you people are fighting snow blindness? NOT!
Hey Paul, I share not only your frustration but your snow as well. I am sitting here in Morrisburg Ont about 40 miles south of you on the St Lawrence River and I just came in from shovelling a path to my garage and my 07 Street Glide. The snow was chest deep and I am close to 6 feet!
I retired last year and had a great summer of riding so this winter seems interminable. proud to be canadian but not at this price! North Carolina sounds great but South Carolina sounds warmer!
