I've decided on a 6X12 tandem V nose for the occasion I need to haul my bike and camping gear. I have two questions you gents may be able to help with.
1. Does anyone know of a good source for used trailers? I found a few on e-bay but they seem to have a lot more new trailers that are made in Georgia. 2. Does anyone have any first hand experience with these Georgia made trailers?
I also agree with Hagar the Horrible & model1911a... I have a 7 x 14 v nose myself and no problem getting 2 full size dressers in there with plenty of room for luggage. Fixed it up with an electrical plug in case I get in a pinch and need a place to sleep. I also did not want to trailer my bike with any trailer that did not have brakes on it!!! Hard to find single axels with brakes.

RE: Used Enclosed Trailer
I agree with a couple of the others, 7' minimum width , I'll add, even ifboth bikesare not baggers.Sooo much nicer to have the width. I have a 7x12 Haulmark Low Hauler, not a vee but it has rubber ride and tandem axles with brakes on both. The tandem and rubber ridemakes for a much smoother towing trailer. If your looking to possibly sleep in it, get one with a travel trailer style side door, meaning it can be locked and opened from the inside. I bought this one last fall, used maybe twice, with 2 pop in style wheel chocks, and floor tie down eyes... 2005 model $2800.
A company near me (2 miles) has them they show a 6 x 12 v-nose for $2695 (shows out of stock now ) but they also have 7' wide..... anyway here is the link http://www.metzlerauto.com/MetzlerHome.htm
