Check the A/B switch asdisccussed above and check the ground. Whatever the A/B switch is at now on your switch it to the other and a badground would create some noise. Good luck.
I guess mp3 players are cool, I have one but do not use it. I prefer to use a mp3 disc. 100 songs or 6-8 hours of music. How are you gonna be in the saddle that long. Except on a IBA ride. I carry 5 disc with me and change when I get gas if need be.
to each their own.
Ok, broke down and bought an i-pod shuffle. Hope I don't lose it, this thing is small, and will hold 250 songs. For the price and the ease of loading songs, for now this is the way to go. Thanks to all for your answers.
Just get some velcro off grandpa's shoes (i bet some of you have a pair of shoes with velcro on them) or some double stick tape. I have a roll of tape that i cut a 1" square piece to stick my sansa player on the dash and whenever i stop somewhere i pull the player off the clip (the clip is removable on the sansa clipit) and when i wash the bike the tape and clip come off and i use a new piece later on. You must turn the volume all the way up on the player so you can get the full volume on the hand controls.
wretched!! I have one and hate it! I just velcro a nano to the inner fairing and I'm off!!
If you use itunes its ok. but anything you download through itunes will not play because its in mpeg4 format and not mp3. but anything ripped from cd's and such should play no matter what. it also will not play anything protected!!
