Battery re-connect sparks
I just finished installing new brackets for the passing lamps/turn signals. When I put the battery cable(s) against the terminal to screw them in, I get some sparking. I have a 2003 EGC, with the factory security system. Can anyone tell me if there are supposed to be sparks at this point, or is it more likely to indicate I've got a short? Unplugging the harness I just rewired according to the HD instruction doesn't make any difference. Thanks in advance...

Just means you have a draw, alarm will have a slight draw ECM could also have a draw. as long as the sparks are not huge don't worry too much but keep an eye on your battery make sure it's not being drained.
