Im 31 my girlfriend is 22. I love the SG and so does she. There are several of us in the Indiana chapter of the Renegade pigs that have SG's youngest being 27.
Not to high jack the thread, but why did HD buy the SG back??

Nope I got you beat. I am 24 had a SG but HD bought it back. Now I ride a Road King Classic. My wife hated the SG but loves the new RKC. I dont give a d@m what people think about the bike I ride, I know I will be comfy for the ride to Sturgis.
I'm 55 and have had my StreetGlide for a week now, and am loving it also. I went from a Low Rider to a BMW LT, then to the SG. Best decision I ever made...
Dont worry about what the other guys say, trust me, I can tell you first hand. I bought my first Road king at 28 years old, and never looked back, Im gonna be 30 now and I still get crap for my "Granpa bike" all the time, but guess what, When its a little chilly out side, who is the one tucked behind a nice windhield? and who's Butt doesnt hurt as bad after a 500 mile day of riding. I started out on a springer softail, then a fat boy and even had a custom, I would never give up my "granpa ride". Its kinda funny how every time one of my buddies throws a leg over my bagger they fall in love with it. I have converted several softail, dyna, and even a few custom riders over to the "good side". Buy what you want, Thats what riding a Harley is all about. Once you own one you will never be without, I can almost promise you that.
HD also bought my first SG back cause I complained so much about the way it performed. At the time I wasn't aware of the '06 EPA issues with the bike. They gave me another SG but naturally I have the same issues. Hopefully they will all be taken care of since my bike is in the shop today for a SERT and a dyno tune.
You guys are not making me feel warm and fuzzy over getting ready to buy a new 06 Street Glide!!!!

I'm keeping my 2006 XL 1200C Custom Sportster until 13 August 2008. That's when I'm going to trade it in for either a Dyna Wide Glide or a Softail Deuce. That will be my present to myself in celebration of my 70th birthday. [sm=goodidea.gif]
My electra glide was stolen at Myrtle beach at October fest this past year. Bought A Street Glide the next day at N.Myrtle beach Harley Davidson. Handles so much better and the styling is awesome. My sons 21 and 27 yrs old ,cant stay off the bike despite having a deluxe and a softtail of their own. Could have bought any bike I wanted but am so happy I bought this one!!!!!
