You pro gas oil company guys are funny....blah blah blah...Can someone explain to me in plain english how Mobil Exon has had RECORD PROFITS (not complaining about profits just RECORD PROFITS) year after year. In plain English they are establishing new records every freakin year. We are talking profit....not gross....net profit.... understand the differance?

Exactly! Declare a National Emergency and order the immediate construction of 3 dozen oil refineries on a 24/7 schedule until operational. Ok, Someoneexplain how demand went up 80% in the past two weeks. My area diesel went from $3.75 on March 1 and is now 12 days later $4.05 A year ago it was under $3.00
After that explain why my home heating oil (discount price $3.78) is more than gasoline ($3.09) and its getting warmer here.
Then explain why the government is pushing Ethanol which costs more to make than it benefits, and is exhausting corn crops used to feed cattle.
Explain to me how we are not gonna be able to feed ourselves soon without importing basic wheat, corn and beef.
The problem is not in the Middle East it is on Wall St.
Oh yea explain why my paycheck hasn't increased in two years.
Somebody has alot of explaining before I'll get it

More people in the US than ever in History.
But if it makes you feel good saying that, so be it.
But the facts stand.
People arent walking to work anymore.
Next time you visit work, let me know how easy it was getting there on the freeway.

And Oh, by the way. If you think YOUR gas prices are high. Get a clue and look around the world. We are spoiled.
Oil is a "commodity".
Look the word up first.
Then look up how its sold "worldwide".
The gas companies dont control that.
