Ground Wire
Anyone ever have any trouble with the ground wire that goes from the starter through the battery box to ground on the touring models. It seems that where it goes through the battery box it has been rubbing and the insulation has worn down to the bare wire. I know that there isn't any danger of a short but is there any other problem caused by this. By the way I ordered a new wire just in case.

It will have no effect, for cosmetics get a piece of rubber tubing(close fit to wire)and slide it to the spot the new wire rubs to keep it from wearing and looking tacky. A gnd is a gnd the extra frame contact will not effect anything.
