07 is great bike. Don't let the few negative people distract you. I keep reading negative things about the 08's......so.....sometimes you get a squeaky wheel that makes a lot of noise.I paid 22,000 for mine with a lot of add ons before I picked it up. I have no IDS nor do I need one. I personally ride with several riders with 07 bikes, and none have IDS, nor do any plan to. It depends on the bike. I know I demoed a lot of bikes before I bought mine, and 5th gear whine seemed to vary from bike to bike. Mine, if you don't consciously listen for it, you would never notice it. My 07 has had 0 problems......8,500 miles......back to shop for regualar service only.
The best deal is the one YOUR satisfied with.....not what others think. Keep that in mind as you shop around. It's your money and your decision.
I have an 07 after about 2 grand its a great bike so far other than the color mine is the same color as you are looking at and not much you can do with it other than repaint it
price little high but other than that will make you a nice bike for a long time good luck
Price is a bit high, paid only 16,999 for mine (used) after exhaust, A/F, fuel management upgrades best bike I have ever ridden, very slight whine in 5th gear but you almost have to listen for it, no IDS nor plans for one, no heat issues after upgrades. I would see if he will come down, however I don't feel you will regret the purchase, I know we haven't. Good luck
Little high in my book, especially with the economic threats before us. My neighbor just picked up an 07 with 103 dealer build, SERT, Rineharts, TONS of add on chrome, etc, 2300 miles for $17,500 in Salt Lake. Of course, location is everything...[&:]
Price does seem a bit high. Only $2285 off of new 2007 list. I own a 2007 Ultra. With the addition of slip ons, SERT, dyno tuned, IDS and 75w140 in the tranny it's definitely a keeper.
I guess it comes down to what other deals are available in your area? I wouldn't hesitate to buy a 2007 but I'm obviously biased.
I love mine. I added the TMAX with Rinehart T/D's and a Ness big Sucker. Also I added the IDS. Haven't had a chance to see if any thing has reduced the heat issues but like I said I really do like it. Wife likes it too!
