You'll have to provide what pistons you are using, there may be clearance issues with the flat tops with the larger valves and the lower deck height since the heads will have to be milled to get the compression you'll need. You can either clearance the flat tops, or go with a high compression domed piston and they will mill your heads less.
But as always, call them first and see what direction they point you in.
I have a 08SG with a 103 and using the SERT. the TMAX isn't avail yet for the 08's as I'm getting some popping... (Don't wanna pay for another dyno )i see you have a 07 why not keep using the TMAX??
I'm currently looking atswithching over to the TMAXI say use the TMAX for the constant tuning or can you even still use it?? with the upgrades??
Your best bet would be to call & chat with Doug ot Kevin about it.
I doubt there would be ant interference issues, even with the small valve reliefs in the S/E pistons because max valve lift does not occur @ TDC. Still.... ASK oug or Kevin. I would say between 10 & 10.2:1 would be very safe and still make great toqrue.
SERT (or Master Tuner) would tune in much better than the TMax. The HQ ProTuner is a very nice addition to the overall package, but you still need a reasonably cloe base map.
I would not make any ignition decisions until the Master Tuner is released....
Yes , The Tmat works okay with pretty much any engine combo, just having some problems getting it dialed in and I think I am losing a HPTQ or 5 vs the SERT or other locked in tuners yet to come. Good over all system but not musch support down here to work out the tune, I am stuck at 30 mpg, and cant figure it out, tried everything the Zippers people told me but still cant get it, I measure my riding time in $, if I am working on the bike its costing me double.
what is this Master Tuner you speak of? quote]ORIGINAL: PhilM

Ditto on the Master Tuner, I am watching and reading all I can find on this. I do like the DTT though and have become proficient with it. But being a techno junkie, who knows?
Call Kevin or Doug at HQ, you wont find any better cutomer service and they take the time necessary to help you with the decisions you need to make.
