I've been looking into changing my stock clutch cable out for a Hydraulic version to save time on adjustment procedures and also make the clutch a bit easier on my 06 FLHTI. I was wondering if anyone has used this system since the MOCO is asking some crazy money for their version and this one doesn't require me to purchase another clutch release side cover since you use the original one and just change out the ball and ramp assy. Just had the 20k service done and saw one fitted on a Fatboy, owner really loved it. Plus now I'm waiting on another set of tires since my Metzelers went south after 10k mileage, too many curves on my road. Got a set of Conti Milestones which will arrive Wednesday. Thanks for the help

Have you read the installation instructions? It looks to me like a cheap imitation of a real hydraulic clutch. A hydraulic line you cut with a knife? That will probably fail fairly quickly. Replace the ball & ramp with a slave cylinder you can't bleed? Not a good design. And to top it all off, you leave the mechanical adjuster! The real hydraulic clutch does away with the adjuster.
With a little effort you can use all Harley parts & have a reliable hydraulic clutch. I did it 2 or 3 years ago & haven't had any problems. Most of the parts are available online, at swapmeets, or at salvage yards for a fraction of what a dealer sells a kit for. P. M. me if you want a list of parts.
