I have read that some people are having cracks develop at the bottom edges where it is not supported

i have their 6" smoked and really like it. it seems to cut the wind down some and i can hear radio a little better. i have also heard about them cracking but havent had a problem with mine.

I've been happy with the airflow, but the windshield itself is a little "soft". Shows some minor scratching after several washes. You get what you pay for.

I have two verions and am very satisfied. Have used them for two riding seasons. Very nice people to deal with. Yes, they get scratched like any other windshield and no I haven't had any cracks. I have a 10" flat top wide for long distance hauling/functionality and a shorter, rounded one for the summer, day-trip look. They'll cut it to any size/shape you want. No complaints here.
