i have those 98b's...those are the last model screamin eagles that did not have epa restrictions. even though the catalog will say differently many of the optional end caps will fit. those pipes are now discontinued and made by another company,,which was bought by yet another company. when i ordered the fishtail end caps from that company i saw that their tails were covered in chrome at the end and only had a circular hole opening. they looked great but were a lil quiet (the inside had a baffle type surface). i took one of those end caps down the the dealer and asked for one of their fishtails.....exact same mounting holes...wide open at the ends,,no baffles inside. come to find out all of the other end caps would fit that exhaust. i now run the harley fishtales and like them a lot their louder and throatier. if you have any doubts bring your current end cap to the dealer and compare them.
for sale........one set slash cut end caps,,,,,,,,one set fshtail end caps,,,both are new
