Like some feedback on the one piece SE bagger mufflers #64924-99 that were produced back the beginning of last year compared to the stock mufflers. They are the crossed flag ones I believe.Do you like them?Much louder? Good sound?Any feed back is appreciated.
Anything is better than stock bro.Only if you could see your face after you start it up with the slip on muffs on compared to the stock silencers!!!Go for it!!!!!
I hear ya there, what I'm trying to find out is how much louder these mufflers are above stockers. I don't want loud, just a better sound, somewhat louder is ok but not loud.

Just a question about the Peacemakers. Would changing the diverter valve change the leaness in the EFI??? If so how would you compensate for that?
According to NC they say it will work fine with the stock
EFI, I'm putting a Thunder Max Auto Tuner on mine so I
know mine will be fine. I'm not sure I'd want to try it with
the stock EFI even though they say it will work with no
ill effects to the engine..
Zippers says as fast as I can hit the button on the
Peacemakers to change them, the Thunder Max will
have retuned the engine! "WORKS FOR ME"
If these are the HD touring mufflers, I have them and like them. They are a little louder than stock at idle, especially if you're somewhere where the sound is bouncing off of buildings, etc. I can easily hear my stereo or intercom/cb at highway speeds. Big difference is they sound off with more authority when you get on it. Not loud like straight pipes or even the Screamin Eagle, performance mufflers but definately with more rumble than stock. I had these originally on an 05 Classic and switched them to my 06 Ultra. Dealer did the stage 1 air filter ECM upload and said I would have no problem with these mufflers. The bike seems to run good and I've noticed I have no bluing on the header pipes after 11,000 miles so the bike isn't running super hot.
Another nice thing about these is that they have the HD legal statements on them if you live in an area where inspections take place.

Sorry not trying to hijack. Yo Gdog, how loud are your thundermax mufflers with the dresser duals. Are they louder than say a set of VH Big Shot True duals? Really curious about them. They are the most expensive mufflers I've seen.... are they worth it (fit and finish). And does your wife mind taking a 300 mile rides with them on? I'm probably going to go the Big Shotduals, but I've also been thinking about the dresser duals with the vh dumps. Are they louder than the dumps (if you've heard thosebefore).
Thanks, Ralph
