The sound keeps going out on my radio,i can turn radio off then right back on and it plays again fine,it might play for days or it might play for 10 minutes before the sound quits again. every thing looks nomal on the radio screen just no sound. I thank yall in advance for any help. Ray
I have been reading hear on the forum that there where problems with those radios and corrosion behind the face plate. Take it back to the dealer for a replacement.
i would check for dirty connections at the stereo unit. pull the outer fairing and take a look. it can get dirty in the bat cave.
dont forget to pull the maxifuse.
the one on my 06 SG was the total opposite it had sound all the time but a blank screen, took it to harley and they goodwill me a replacement radio so far so good....
