I have an 07 Street Glide with sound system problem. It comes on radio or cd. You can turn the volume up or down change tracks or choose different radio stations. That all shows up on the display but no sound out of the speakers. It's not the speakers, I've tried another set, no sound at all. Just
started doing this and nothings been wet recently. Anyone have any ideas.

 

Sounds like radio problem I went thru 3 radios before mine got fixed. Mine was no display, then no display light but sound worked.

 

mine started the other day same problem I hear 06 and later has had radio problems. I turn off the radio then turn it back on I get sound. its getting worse each day Im thinking of going to an after market radio

 

I have an `06 EGC that has radio problems--radio powers up but no sound and controls do not work. Had the radio repaired once by IronCross last year and the same problems are reappearing. Once I save up the coin I am going with an after market radio, until then I'll just listen to the sound of the bike.

 

I've been having the exact same problem with my 09 SG. Turning the bike off and on seems to fix it, but obviously that's a PITA.

Anyone found a fix?? I assume this would be covered under warranty...if I can get the thing to crap out while at the dealer - problem is intermittent on my bike.

 

I have the same issue. My radio has been at the dealer for 4 weeks now. The replacements are on back order. They say about 2 more weeks. Many problems with these radios. When the warranty is up and it quits again, I'll just go after market.

Everyone here speaks highly of them.First time I've heard of a problem.
I think I would be calling them since they worked on your radio.

 

Have a SG 2010....7 months old..............Was out in a bigtime rain storm.....the radio went completly out. When I got back home couldn't turn off the LED screen, wouldn't turn on. Worried I would kill the battery.

Next morning, it dried out. Went out again, slowley the radio came back, then the CD starting working again. Next day the radio works....CD is dead won't even take in a CD or go into CD mode. Still not working after 3 days.

I know it's warrenty, but is it woth getting fixed or just go aftermarket?
Taking it in, someone picking me up. droping it off.....
I'm sure I can change the radio myself.
I'm not one to require top of the line, just listen to a little music or news when I drive?
