I like Autolite 4164's. They are cheaper than the 6R12's and I like them better. They have now come out with iridium 4164's. I believe they are called XS4164 for extreme sport. You can also use 4163's if you need a colder plug
I'm using a set of S/E Triple Platinum plugs............a guy brought them over when I was servicing his bike. When I took his old plugs out and cleaned them on a wire wheel, he said put them back in and keep the others. So I put them in my bike and have been using them ever since, they were the ones for higher compression builds.........that is why he didn't put them in his stock bike.
I switched back to Autolites.
The Denso Iridiums ran good, butcaused the check enginelight for the back cylinder not firing.
The engine light would be intermittent, would never stay on.
I would just have to reset.
Pain in the . . .

Are they worth the extra cost over stock, probably not.
Do they improve performance, not on a stock or mildly tuned motor.
Will I buy them again, hell yes. I never said I was smart.
Only one comment really. If you are tuneing with a SERT, use stock plugs to set up the tune, and when happy change to the non stock plugs. The knock sensors work partly by measuring resistance based on stock plugs, so to get everything spot on its best to stick with the stock plugs for the setting up. If I ever feel the need to adjust my tune I will put new stock plugs back in while I check everything runs right.
