Default crome fork sliders

one shop says 2-3 hours to install lower fork sliders,another dealer says 5-6 hours. has anybody had this done and how many hours were you charged? thanks for your help,greg

The difference is actual time vs. flat rate......Shops differ on this item...If you are having other work or service done, you can negotiate actual time...some shop are straight up flat rate..that is how mechanics make a good buck if the can come under the flat (Bill for 5, takes 3)..

I had it done and they charged me 2 hrs. But the rate book said 4 and a half hrs. I had a $100 off cupon
on labor from H D so that made it sweet.
