Dude, take a chill pill....I pointed out early on that they can't deny warranty simply because you used a "brand x" filter. What I DID point out is that your life appears to be full of drama w/the MoCo - and that you'd likely be better off on a different brand. We each make our decisions based on what we think is best - but you seem to have nothing but problems w/HD.
Honda ticked me off BIG time with their 1800. Rather than ride it and whine, I sold it and bought something that WOULD make me happy. Same with the '03 Silverado ah owned. Tranny grenaded at 53k and again at 65k - ah sold it, bought something else. With both mfr's, ah let 'em know that ah'd not darken their doorways fer at least 5 years. May not sound like much, but on average ah replace mah truck every 2.5-3 yrs (2000,2003,2005,2008), an' mah bike every 3-4 years ('96,'98,'02,'07) - so the numbers kin add up. THAT is how ya drive a point home IMO - an' it's a LOT less stress on YOU.
No I don't need to take a chill pill.
You all (some or most of you ) need to wake up and realize the moco and their dealers are NOT
your friends.
That is what I am trying to do, organize you lazy ba*t*rds to band together and protect yourself
BEFORE it happens to you!!
I don't fricking lie, if I said it happened to me it did, exactly as I said.
I got to leave for work now no more time.

WE RIDE OVER 40,000 K EACH YEAR, IF I DIDN'T CHANGE MY OWN OIL I WOOD HAVE TO LIVE AT THE DEALER. MARK ON INVOICE BIKE # AND MILES. YOU WILL BE OK
RIDE ON!!!!
THE DEALER PIZZED ME OFF AND SOME OF YOU KNOW IT ALL IGNORANT AZZES THAT DON'T HAVE THE GONADS TO STAND UP FOR YOURSELVES DO TOO!!!
Some day some of you will experience a warranty problem firsthand and the dealer and moco
will deny the warranty. Then we will hear you whine.
Well I've been trying to help yOu all. Which most OFyou haveshown is a waste of time.
I have hd several warranty issues with HD. I walked into the dealership and treated the service people with respect and they worked and succeeded in having all issues taken care of to my satisfaction. My guess is that you treated these people the way you rant here. You get more done with a little bit of sugar, rather than a whole lot of vinegar. Face it, you used the Carquest filter to save money a buck or two.
Lemme see...they fixed the bike under warranty, are waiting on a part - and yet you complain.
Do me a favor - NEVER buy anything from me!
LOL..........ya know i HEAR what you're sayin, but c'mon. waiting on an oil filter??? i would bitch too. and that's not to say i dont believe they dont have one. there is a Subway sandwich store in my area that -at least on six occasions- couldnt fill my order when i walked in because they were OUT OF BREAD..........and they make it on site!!! I'm in auto repair. i run out of an oil filter-someone's gettin an *** chewin and someone's in thier ride runnin ta pick some up.MO

I don't think anyone is calling you a liar choochoo. Only a whiner.
Delivery and presentation sells products more than quality or quantity. Maybe it's time you learn a better way of presenting your arguments. Whining about problems with the moco on a forum dedicated to the brand probably won't win you any fans (or supporters in your cause).
Be concise and remove all emotion from it. Logic and cool heads prevail over childish whining and tantrums.
Just some friendly advice. Value it what you paid for it.
