Ok there is more information regarding modifications that I am willing to read. When it comes to more power I am not looking for that right now. What I want is the "GROWL". The Harley sound is all I want. I heard that just adding slip ons without changing the air filter system is ok. I'm looking at a 2008 road glide and installing slip-ons only and if this is enough, than which ones will get me my potato, potato. Those who know please reply, Thanks
Most slip-ons will give you a decent sound but nothing will give the old harley sound. The newer HD's have EFI and dont potato anymore. You can get it close though by changing to some aggressive cams.
There are tons of slip-on's on the market. I think the best way to start is to ask yourself how much louder than stock do you want to go. This will make it easer for folks to recommend mufflers. Then go out and try to find these mufflers installed, listen to them and decide for yourself.
Stock HD's run lean and hot. Adding mufflers will increase this. You willwant to read the following thread on Nightrider 02 IED wires before going forward. Stage 1 download & Nightrider 02 IED

You need a fuel management system of some kind if you change anything... period.+

If you want your potato, potato, you might want to consider buying a used carbed bike. Don't think you will get what you're looking for from the new fuel injection engines.
Also, you are NOT going to be able to run an 08 without doing more mods beyond the slip ons.
