Billy,

You and I look to be about the same size, (the color of the bike is also right, nice choice).

Looking at your pictue I would say you might want to consider a little taller handlebar or if you can reach comfortably, rotate them up a little higher. Your elbows are above your hands, it might improve your circulation and your nerve bundling if you had your hands were a bit higher than your elbows. Your forearms should almost be paralell to the ground. It might just be you have a little too much pressure on your wrist joint at a certain angle.

I really havevery littleproblem with the Ultra once i rotated the bars upwards towars the inner faring, but my Hertaitge would numb my hands in 5 minutes. I had to go to 6" bent risers with Road Glide bars to get the angle right.

Go get checked for carpel tunnel. If you have it and you wait to long(like I did) you can get permanent nerve damage.

Hey Billy I use to have that problem. It could be a couple things, 1 death grip while driving in traffic and the vibration problem. In the past on all my bikes I got rid of most of my vibration by doing the following. Take the end caps off your grips, then take a piece of string about 5'long and suck it through the bars with a vac cleaner leaving ends hanging out both ends of the bars. Now take a piece of rubber tubing about 1/2" or 3/8" outside dia., cut it so it is just about 2" shorter than the length of your bars.Hook it to the string by tying and taping. Then smear some dish soap on the tubing and pull it through the bars so it is about 1" in at each end. Cut the string leaving about a foot or so and tuck it back in the bars so you have something to get a hold of if you ever want to remove the tube.Always pull the string from the clutch side so the string you tuck in does not interfear with the throttle.Replace the end caps and your done. Now any vibes in the bars are sucked up by the rubber tube where ever it touches the inside of the bars.It is about a $4 fix for vibes. Make sure you get tubing that is sorta soft , I used vac line. Don't use rubber gas line it is to stiff. You can get the vac line at a local parts store. Give it a try you won't be out much.

I had the same problem with the stock bars on my RK. I tried moving the bars and changing the grips. It turned out that the angle of the bars was putting my wrists at a wierd angle and making my hands fall asleep. I changed the bars over to some street slammers and have never had a problem since. Might be something to check into. Good luck.
