96" HP NUMBERS - disapointed
The 100/100 club is going to cost you some $$$. Nothing comes cheap and just so you know, it's harder to get stock power from the newer twin cam motors than it was to beef up the older 88 motors into the 90+ HP range. If you want the 100 club, better open up that wallet and buy something more than cams. You need head work and diplacement along with higher compression. Simple as that...
Or you could get a pro tune from JoesCycleRepair? I hear he can get you 100+ numbers for about 300.00 worth of dyno time. (ahhhhh haaaa haaaa) Good old Joe!

Seriously, cheap and fast dont go together. A nice kit from HQ with all the goodies will get you where you want to be, but even if doing the work yourself, you are going to drop $2k to $3k depending what is already on the bike that you can use such as the exhaust, tuning system etc.
I am sometimes amazed when a person spends in excess of $20k for a bike, then does a build "on the cheap" to save a few hundreds dollars. Wait, save your dollars and then buy reliability through a good proven builder such as HeadQuarters (I am a little partial to them) or others such as GMR. As for someone "custom grinding" a cam for a build for the street, I have only one question with all the choices that are now out there....why???
Head Quarters looks nice, I dont mind droppin 2-3k for a good package...i'll keep reasearching that.
Now Rebuilding it in 10,000 miles will cost you. But You will have your Dyno Queen. Just my .02
The Best of Harley-Davidson for Lifelong Riders
Let me add something to this, you may have the big motor disease only you can tell -- if you do might as well go 113 or 120 now.
a 103 build with labor and all the other stuff will cost you $3200 to $4000
