had a cst today talkin to me bout my EGC. he found out that i had done 34k in 14 months and asked " given the miles you're puttin on it when do you figure you'll have to replace it?" kinda stumped me. i just figured given reg maintenance and synthetic oil it would just keep on goin like the Energizer Bunny (that they obviuosly stole the color scheme for the 105TH from). but now i wonder. what kinda mileage CAN i expect out of my glide????????????????????[sm=biker2.gif]
My 03 has 54,222 miles on it, and it runs strong.
I know this is just a drop in the bucket, but with all of the low mileage bikes out there it is above average.
I have a friend with an 01 with 212,000 miles on his.
my 03 flht has 59509 on it and it runs strong. this winter i had to replace the cam tensioners they made it to 59000 the outer one was destroyed (in pieces) everything was spotless inside the previous owner used syn 3 every 5000 mi. i now have 120 mi. on it since tensioners were installed and it runs great

He lost re-election last year and Harley instantly offered him a job. He turned it downn because they would require him to wear a helmet.
I know he had major engine work done just before the half million mark, but I don't know a lot of detail
