I've completed my HQ 107" and my numbers are very poor. That's why I want to see these Huge numbers that Kevin (Head Quarters) is advertising.

See chart...

So what else are you doing to investigate your results? You mentioned in another thread that you checked compression. What was it, and does that match what HQ says it should be?

Have you checked for sumping?

How do you know the tune is as good as it could be? The afr line looks pretty good, but were the timing tables adjusted/optimized?

Just asking some questions in hopes that you get to your goals. I can understand you being pissed, but I think there are more constructive ways of getting to the end results you want.

Zach

The exhaust plays a huge part of how the engine works. In the attachment, you see several dyno runs. The differences you see on the graph are exhaust changes. Each exhaust system was fully tuned. All other components stayed the same. The bike we did this on was a 2007 FLHX the engine is a 103ci. Exhaust will play a factor in fuel economy, throttle response, the smoothness of the bike, ride ability, and power.

The ONLY results I want is what I was told from Kevin over the telephone and what their website states, 115+/120+ with a 2-1 pipe.

So what is your expectation if you stick to your current exhaust? You have to expect something lower if HQ states their numbers are with a good 2-1 pipe.

interesting/excellent discussion going on here --- do you think tru-duals would make that much of a difference?

My builder/tuner did tell me to get the most out of this build I would have to go to a FatCat--I wanted a thunderheader he stated that was better than tru duals but not in the ball park of D&D

I have been looking for my DYNO sheet -- can't find it anywhere however I am getting the biketuned again within the next three weeks for the summer and will post results

Who built it?
Was ring gap checked & set properly?
What is the F&R CCP?
Whatisleakdown %?
What is the Deck Height?
What is the Quench set at?
What was the cause of the oil you said leaked from a head bolt?
Were the new clutch disks properly seasoned b4 dyno?
Did whomever figure out how to properly adjust the clutch?
How many oz. of oil come out of the sump after these pulls?

Since you are obviously an exhaust expert, I will not even go there.

PossibleBuild Problems:
Sumping
Clutch
Tune - timing

Other Obvious Problems:
ATTITUDE
Approach

One thing for sure it is not the HQ products. Wonder why they say with a good 2 into 1?
Probably like the way it sounds
