I'm pretty new to the PCIII. I bought the Fuel Moto slip ons and their mapped PC III for my 07 Street Glide. I'm still trying to get rid of the backfire at let off when shifting and decel. For you guys who have had one of these for a while I want to know if it is normal to have to roll the throttle on at start-up. If I don't, I get backfire at the intake.
I run a pcIII on my 99 king and after a dyno tune it still had decel popping. I took it back to the wrench and he added fuel to the 0 throttle position, and decel pop is gone.

The PCIII has a known slow starting issue. Try starting it immediately after you switch it on rather than waiting for the engine light to go out.
If it still does it, you should call Jamie at Fuelmoto. Probably a fuel map issue.
