Same problem with my RKC using the original windshield. At 6'6", i had to go to the +2" oversized windshield to get rid of the problem. No more bouncing. My hair always looks slicked back when i get done riding now, though.
I buy the CurvZ glasses. $18.00 at the metric stores.. Get a new pair of Smoked and Clear every year. They have the foam backing and stay firmly planted while riding my SG.
Found a pair of Crokies at the mall ( had no idea what the h*ll they were until today)
Going to go for a 75MPH test flight tomorrow (mid 40's and sunny forecast )
let you know!!

I do not mean to be harsh so please don't take it that way.
Put a windseild on it not a cool looking short peace of plastic.
the sheild should be at a height that you can just see over it.
You'll get use to the different look in a short time and love the ride as soon as you put it on.
In some cases you would be better off with no sheild than one that is at a height that causes the air flow were you leasst want it.
I tried a 5 1/2 inch sharp looking black one on my RG it look great .
Then I rode my outstanding RG with .
IfI had to ride like that I would rather walk,when back to a normal height sheild that afternoon
I read about glass bouncing on your nose on the FLHX,picked mine up last month so riding home i had to hold my glasses on from bouncing off my face.I just install a clearview recurved 9.5" and it solved the problem completing,i no longer have to hold on to my sunglasses and i'm 6'1".
Just my opiniion but this is not rocket science. 4" and 6 1/2" windshields are useless! You need at least a 8" shield and you could still use a good pair of glasses with an eye cup.
I use a 12" shield in winter and an 8" w/recurve in summer plus I have a pair of prescription transitional Panoptics and a pair of WileyX.
I'm telling you all the best glasses I've ever found re Nemesis saftey glasses. At around $5-$6 a pair they are a steal and they look great too. I don't use a windshield and travel up & down the 5 in California at speeds of 75+ and have no bouncing, no tearing and plenty of protection being that they are shatterproof saftey glasses. Chek them out.
