nice, its good to see that someone else on here that rides sportbikes as well. I still have my r6 planning on turning it to a trackbike.
good luck and watch the brakes... (see my post "Finally Happened")hahah good luck.. btw I hope you kept the sportbike... I wasd told i was going to miss the r6, and i finally rode it before my accident and found myself saying wow the hog dont do it like this.. I still love both bikes, but they each have their own flavor ya kno what i mean.

Right on I too was like you 4 years ago. my transition was slow I went from gsxr's and cbr's to a v-twin suzuki. less than a year after getting the v twin fever I went for the Harley. The problem is I still love the twisty's my stuff drags all the time. I too will never go back. I'm such a Harley hound now that if I bought a sport bike it'd be a buehl.

Well like you I started riding on a Honda. Put nearly 100,000 miles on one in 13 years. When the first SG adds hit the scene I knew I had to have one. Bought mine in 06 and kept the Honda thinking I would ride the SG around home and keep the Gold Wing for touring. Only tool about 3 months to realize I had not ridden the GW since buying the SG. Sold the GW for nearly what I paid for it 13 years ago and used the $ to upgrade and ad things to the SG. I am at 17,000 miles now on the SG and still get that same grin every time I start it. Never had the same feeling with the GW. It was a great ride but by no means a Harley.

Ride Safe,

Mike

Can't live without my sportbike,I'd sell the Harley before I'd sell it. You're gonna have to completely alter your riding style. But just like there's nothing like a good sportbike, there's nothing like a touring Harley. Having both is ideal IMO.
