I would recomend you just ride the bike stock. Get out and rack up miles. People get too caught up in what the bike sounds/looks like. It takes away from the whole ride. You have plenty of time to figure out what you want to do.

 

my 08 ultra runs great stock. I've had 2400 care free miles so far. It gets warm though. I'd be more concerned about how I break it in and ride it the first 500 miles or so then. That will give you time so you can decide how you want to change it. If you change it before you get it you'll never know what it was like stock.
