I have a 6.5" re-curve on a 07 ultra, I am 6'4" and catch the wind just a little when I wear a helmet, when I am not wearing a helmet I don't feel the wind at all.

I'm 6'2" and I had a 9" Halrey shield for a bit but too much buffeting so I went with an 8" Cee Bailey and a 14" Cee Bailey for the fall weather. So far I've only used the 8" shield and even at 70 mph from Knoxville TN to Boone NC no problems at all. It really makes a big difference in flipping the wind over my head and not swirling it around like the stock shields do. I see that Klockwerks came out with a flare shield for the E-glides and Street-glides but kinda pricey for my taste.

I like the recurve on the SG/UC's not too much recurve to take away from the looks!
