Default Need Help Battery dead

I rode my 07 Ultra last Sunday for about 30 miles and went out today and the battery was dead. I never had any problems with leaving it sit for longer periods before. I did rode it for about 40 miles today and the Volt meter was reading almost 14. How much does other peoples read? My mods areRinehart T/D with Ness Big Sucker and T/ Max with auto tune.

First, make sure your kill switch is in the run positon. If it is then tighten the bolts where your cables connect at the battery, ground on the frame and starter. It is common for them to work
loose.

was the battery really dead.
the T-Max is the only thing in your custom config that could cause it,maybe as it
is electrical in nature.

Most systems running down the road show 14 to 14.5 volts.
for safety only:
1. check battery connections at both ends, clean and tight.
2. Starter bolts tight
3. start solenoid wire tight and not corroded
4. a little dielectric grease on all connections would be good idea.
5. check stator to voltage regulator connection
6. check voltage regulator connections to the main C/B under seat in front of battery.
also check the grounding posts there, two of them.
7.Make sure you didn't leave ignition turned on or in accessory
8. verify you didn't forget the kill switch was in off position
and then absent mindedly later turn it on and bike started.
Other items get deeper into the checks

Thanks guys, The kill switch was in the on position and the battery was dead for sure. I put my battery tender on it and it did come back to life. I will keep an eye on it.
Thanks for all responses.
