Default Looking for some advice......

I own a 2003 Electro Glide. Over the course of a few years I have had a continual problem with keeping the windshield screws and fasteners tight.
I don't "over" torque the screws but the bass retainers in the inner fairing seemed to either crack loose which prevents the screw from tightening or the fibre housing around the retainer cracks.
I've tried just about everything, even taking my bike to an automotive body shop to have them "seat" the retainers and they could not find a reasonable solution.
Again, I'm not over-torquing the screws and I'm at a lost as to what I might do to "fix" this problem.
Any suggestions would be appreciate.

Duramix makes an awesome 30 second epoxy #4247 that will hold the anchors in place. Just let it sit over night before your start cranking on it.

This is for anybody reading this post looking for the same resolution:
I purchased PN# 16585-96 from the local "stealer" shop and tried to install it in my fairing. Unfortunately, this PN # does not fit, it's too big.
I also purchased some JB WELD and re-installed the existing anchors in the fairing using that product.
It worked amazingly well.
