I was thinking about getting two sets of Gerbring heated jacket, pants and gloves for my wife and I. Will my 07 Ultra handle this? Should I get a bigger alternator? If so which one? Is this a bad idea? Thanks in advance. Wes

 

You should be able to run these with know problem. I would talk to the stealership as we know they will say anything to try to void the warranty. You should be fine.

 

I ride every day unless there's ice on the road. Lots of people like the vest so they're don't have to wear too many coats. I like a warm inner, the leather, then the Harley rain coat, and never feel any chill down in the 30's. My wife found zip all the way up the sides ski pants on sale and my legs never get cold. I went for the Gerbing battery in the gloves because I didn't want to be plugged into the bike. .02 Add 2 .44's and that's real warm.

 

I went to the dealer on Sat. and asked they didn't seem to know. Very confidence inspiring.
