Hi, I have a 2003 flht, I switched the tank added 3 gallons of fresh gas went to start the bike and it turns over but won't fire up, I'm about to pull the plugs and try starting fluid but wondering if there is ant other suggestions, all of the gas lines are hooked up including the 1 under the cover bike is injected I checked all the fuses. Thanks
You switched tanks?
Is the new one also for fuel injected?
As above check the kill switch.
When you turned ignition on did you hear the fuel pump start?
If pump is not running up, check the connections and fuses.
Ether is not called for in this case, so don't use it.
kill switch is on bike wont turn over with it off, no petcock so no way to turn fuel on, no blown fuses, injected and carb tanks are the same for late model, never did disconnect wires so they are still connected and bike just cranks away but won't even cough
pull the fuel line, manually depress the saftey valve and see if fuel is
reaching the manifold/ injectors.
If it ran before it is somethingyou did.
Does yours have the single or dual fuel line?
You could have an air lock.
Normally they are self purging, but you may have to purge it
manually.

well choo choo and others appreciate the advise, the fuel pump is not making any noise that I can hear when I put the ignition on, checked all the fuses and they are good, was hoping if I fried sumthen the fuse would have blown 1st, all the connections are tight and look good, I have the single delphi injection. I sure do miss my carb bikes this is my 1st injected one, not sure what to do next.
I don't understand how you could switch tanks and not disconnect any wires? My guess would be that you bent one of the pins in the fuel pump plug, they are very small and super easy to bend. I would get a meter and check those wires for power as my next step, I don't have my manual infront of me so i can't help on the wire colours but one of them should be ground and the other power when switched.
