Help. flht won't start
Undo the chrome fuel tank console cover.
there will be a vent hose (hard plastic) and a soft rubber tube (overflow)
and a two wire wire.
It unplugs from the fuel pump assembly, or just underneath the seat at bottom of tank
(forget exactly which place).
Get a digital volt ohm meter.
Set it for D.C.volts 12 volt or up to 40 depending on the meter.
Put the black (negative) probe to a good ground. the positve (red) probe to the harness
side of the connector. first one wire and then turn the ignitionon. Pump only runs intermittently
based on fuel pressure. If no voltage there, turn ignition off then probe other wire and then
turn ignition on. One wire should supply 12 volts for about 5 seconds.
The other wire should not as it is ground.
