No Extended Warranty, probally voided the regular warranty in the first few monts anyway. No GAP, not needed.

This question has been asked twice a day for the last year, use the archives.
Extended warranties aren't worth the paper they where written on!!!!!!
Ask your investment banker if you don't believe me!!!!!!

The extended warranty is a bet against the averages. I do 10-15k a year on mah bike, plan to keep it 4-5 years. To me, it's a good bet that during that time, ah'm gonna use it.....

Waiting until just before my factory warranty is up before deciding on extended warranty. That way I know better of any problems or potential problems. Gap absolutely. It was only $200 through our credit union. Money well spent for that piece of mind IMO.

If you wait till the end of the original warranty to purchase, it will cost you more to extend the plan before expiration.
I feel better with the peice of mind and went for the five year plan.

Thar's also the li'l matter of the tire warranty....can't git it w/o the extended warranty, but it'll cover tires AND rims against road hazard. ONE pothole is all it'd take...

I've got too much invested in this beauty and I drive too many miles a year to not take a chance. I went for the full 7 years with the tire coverage. If I don't use it I will still be happy. BTW I have no intention of ever using my life insurance either.
