OK I see where the siren has to go but whats the trick to get it in that space with the clips, Is it supose to snap in there, tried left to right and right to left but I do not want to break the clips. Thanks Doc
One of the members here posted some detailed instructions along with photos a few months ago, in that thread they mendtioned putting a little silicone lube on the clips to help the siren slide in easier. I'm going to do mine this weekend, so hope that is the secret.
there is no trick. it took some effort to get my siren in. I did put some dialectic grease not only on the electrical connection but some on the body of the alarm. The back end of the alarm (the surface of alarm opposite the electrical connection goes into the slot first, then rotate the electrical connection side of the alrm down under the 2 clips.
I have Black 08 RKC and pick up the siren a few monthd ago. I could not put it in. I did not want to brake the supports. I am going to the dealer and get heip. If you could help thanks.

it took me probably fifteen minutes to get mine to finally go into place. it is just very very tight. the clips are pretty strong, so i dont' think they can be broken easily. i ended up using a small screwdriver to lever mine in, but was careful not to over doit. it really does fit!
Slide it in towards your right (08) into the space behind the fuse block and put the connector side against the clips, usually the top clipwill ride over the siren unit a little easier than the bottom clip, use a flat bladed screwdriver to keep some of the pressure off the unit and assist in keeping the tab away so you can push the unit past the clip, it will then "snap" into place. The plastic is rigid but has nylon in it so it will move. It will take some effort, don't get nervous.
Assuming you're trying to stick it in the right hole[sm=innoc.gif][sm=nothatway.gif][sm=smiley18.gif], just get a toe hold and puuuush! It fits, just a little tight.
