Default Handlebar question

TO replace stock handlebars with chubbys 517s, HOW long or how many beers should i expect it will take? DO I send the g kids away so the Curseing isn't heard? or will it be calm and cool while i attempt this? Thanks in advance. MY Mechanical skills know the screwdriver is the longish thing, and the plyers Grip stuff. ANY tricks or shortcuts i should be aware of? tks guys

Default RE: Handlebar question

You don't say on what kind of bike, but if you have a fairing plan on about 4 hours, assuming you have some knowledge, patience, the repair manual, and all the parts you'll need (including longer cables, i.e. clutch, throttle, brake lines, etc.). Not hard to do, but you have to remove most everything in the fairing. In some cases, you can get away with not removing the tank to replace the cables. Take pictures as you go along. Pictures will help you see how things were before you removed them and may be used to post here how you did it for the benefit of the forum members.
