Bought my SG 90 miles from home. The evening I picked it up it was raining and about 40 deg. I have been riding for years and have cleaned up bikes after rain rides before so it was no big deal. It just gave me a first hand feel of the new bike. I clean it after every ride anyway, it just takes a little longer after rain riding.

Ride Safe,

Mike

Dont forget new tires are slick. New bike not used to it. New tires slick. New brakes not worn in any. I would ride it but Be careful. Just my 02c. get used to the controls before you take her out on the road. Dont want to be looking for the turn signal switch doing 50.
