Selling my 02 deuce today, the guy is coming at 4 to look at it .Sounds like he is gonna buy it says he is bringing cash.I took off the cover this morning an had to stand back an said to myself WOW this is really one nice bike. Some thing about the softail style that really tickles my fancey.Rode that bike for 5 years ,went alota places met alota cool people.Sad to see it go.
Don't do it then. I sold my Jeep with over $15,000 in add ons. It was a rock crawling machine. I so regret it. But then again I am part of the Harley family now.
Is there something you have to buy? is it costing you money to sit there? Then do not do it! If you are short on cash, well then you gotta do what you gotta do.
I'll never forget the day I sold my Mustang. Had over $20k into this thing.....motor, paint on and on.
The only reason I sold it is because the guy made an offer one night andI was essentially getting all of my money out of it. When the guy left my drive and got to the corner, he stomped on it and let all 550 ponies go. I knew when that thingroared to life I just f*cked up. I felt sick.
Make sure you are getting rid of it because you HAVE to get rid of it.
Not to make you even more uncertain but I traded my 03 FXST on my 07 SG and regret it now. Of course I am on HDF and Ebay looking to replace it. I should have kept it for the 11K I got for it.
