I have never adjusted my rear shocks until today, and was wondering what every one runs them at solo and two up (passanger and weight) My pass 115lbs me about 185lbs.
Check your service manual. For your weight solo it shows 0-10 psi and with your pax it shows 10-15 psi. I'm heavier so I set mine to 15 solo and 20 with a pax.
Please note that he rides a Road king CUSTOM, with the low profile shocks. Same ones as on the Street Glide. The low profile shocks have higher air capacity (and requirement) than do the standard 13" shocks.
As for the original question, when I had the low profile shocks on my Street Glide, I ran around 20-25 solo, and 40-50 when 2 up. I also like a firmer feel.
I generally keep them at 20 psi. I am about 220 and my passenger is about 110. Any less than that and she is complaining of bottoming out, and no, I am not lowered.
