The dealership told me that they had put 22 in when I picked it up because they know I ride 2up quite a bit... I noticed that when my wife and I went over big bumps, I felt like I was going to get catapulted over the handle bars. Told my friend who has a RK Custom how bouncy the ride was, so we checked the pressure... low and behold, there was no air in the shocks at all! I have been running about 18 since then and I love it! Smooth ride but stiff enough that it doesn't feel mushy.

I have 13 inch shocks 25 lbs single 35 lbs two up. Remember the short shocks take more lbs of air pressure.
FLHR/C,FLHT/C/U and FLTR 13 inch shocks 35 lbs MAX
FLHRS and FLHX 12 inch shocks 50 lbs MAX

2000 RKC and run 15 lbs in the rear solo (165lbs), up to about 20 with pillion. Always 10 lbs in the front and never change it. I like a firm ride and thisseems to deliver.
